Statiscope
Statiscope 1.0beta8
- Help
- Here you will find the detailed documentation.
- Description
- Statiscope presents summarizing data and descriptive statistical
charts. In the applet you can enter data manually or download data over
the Internet. Charts included: Distribution, Probability mass, Density,
Box plot, Stem & leaf. Other features such as hypothesis testing
and calculation of confidence intervals are also included. The user
interface is responsive and friendly, e.g. Statiscope
introduces a new funny way of changing the scale. It is intended both
for people learning the concepts of statistics and for practical use by
researchers of various kinds. A good thing is that it lets people share
data and do independent investigations. It is designed to look like an
oscilloscope but is concerned with statistics, therefore the name of
Statiscope. Statiscope is also available as a standalone application
that has Open and Save menu options. This application runs on most
common platforms.
